This replica XR200R twin shock fender is color matched to the Honda red used in 83/84-no painting needed. This fender is perfect for show and street use. Yes, and off road too because it’s thicker and stronger than original plastic. Mine is repairable. Originals broke and turned white if they took a major hit. Rear fenders are protected by handlebars and foot pegs in a fall. The common rear fenders on Hondas of the time cocked down in the rear and looked kinda frumpy and enduro-like. XR125, XR185 and XR200 Modern Style Rear Fender
Designed for twin shock Hondas with rear loop
Old twin shock Hondas are still ideal for tight woods riding. They are light, have a high ground clearance, low seat height, short wheelbase, plus they have useable power. The power of 200cc plus bikes is wasted in the really tight stuff. Big bikes weigh more and tire you more quickly.
Here’s a stylish fender that will fit older 125, 185 and 200 models with twin shocks. I’ve styled it to look like later model single shock XRs, but it should fit models with this rear frame loop. Here are photos of a period correct Honda red fender. I make them in white fender as seen on my bike. My glass guy commented on the quality of these fiberglass fenders. Being around glass parts on a daily basis--that’s a significant comment.
