Jawa 890 Speedway 1
This 890 Speedway came from Colorado via the late E.E. Bud Ormiston (one heck of a guy and speedway booster.) It was purchased for something like $600 bucks and given the Omar treatment with special molded fiberglass fenders, paint, fancy wheels, etc. That old motor was in perfect condition because Jawa engines run dead loss oil (caster bean oil) and the internal parts were as clean as surgical instruments. A speedway bike on the ice is the very zenith of a slider dream as you can see by my 104 bike.
