 Vintage Yamaha & Z80 Fenders I included this photo to show you how I remade my YZ80 to look like a '74 YZ250 If there is one thing in this world that is rare and way over priced, it's OEM fenders for Yamaha YZ80s-1974A, 1975B and 1976C models. I have paid as much as $90 for one fender on Ebay because they are just not available any place, not Yamaha dealers or after-market marketers. That's why I am offering these fiberglass replicas. Oh you say "fiberglass-I don't think so." Well I have an answer to that because you should not be spending a huge chunk for rare OEM fenders. I have sourced a rare flexible polyester resin to make these vintage YZ80 fenders. That means, they will flex instead of cracking and breaking like normal fiberglass parts. I am not saying they will never break if you find yourself head long into the pine trees but my flexi fenders give you a shot at longevity. Fenders come in white gelcoat. You can leave 'em white or paint to match your YZ. |
