No modern DTX bikes for this guy. If you can't assemble a zillion parts from far-flung sources, you don't have a dirt tracker. When we mounted the engine, Mert Lawwill said get the weight bias 51% to the rear for short track. Betor sources have dried up here, so Jay Springsteen sent some old Marzocchis that were laying around his Michigan shop (which I hid with my outlaw forks). I used parts that I used to make under Omar name to complete the bike; E-billet trees, 250 Champion tank, long Champion fender and Red Wing shocks. Bill Cody supplied the rear wheel disc. Many trick aluminum parts, like dropped right peg assembly, were made by Conner Engineering, Minneapolis (he will build special bike parts for you too-763-420-2218). The Optimizer pipe was designed for this engine by Mike Morris. The pipe was ceramic coated by www.swaintech.com which is just like legal cheating. A Swain coated pipe will just run away and hide from any other kind of exhaust. The bike is strong and handles beautifully.
