Custom Indy Hoods Some time in the early 90s I made a custom hood for Polaris Indys because the factory hoods looked so bad. I moved the windshield pod rearward so it looked like a normal snowmobile and it made the hood look longer and sleeker. The original hood had dished in sides which I hated so they are gone from my hood. This also presents a flatter surface for registration numbers and graphics. I also moved the cooling scoops out to the sides of the front deck. The hood uses the stock mounts and nose piece. If you have a triple you'll have to grind away a spark plug hole in the bottom of one of the scoop-no big deal. Now these are custom made so I can make them in black, white and red for you.
