 
CR250 Powered Race Kart
My brother got into kart racing after driving a race car at Donneybrook Race Park in Minnesota. He convinced me to try karts too. He was able to get the race track to open up an Open Outlaw class which permitted big MX powered karts. I built this one for about $2000 and had occasion to race it last Saturday (5/16/9). The speed is frightening. The corner speeds are increditably fast. We were turning lap times in just over 11 seconds-a full straight away faster than anything else on the track. Things happen so fast in that kart you don't have time to breathe.
